I must admit there really aren't too many things that get me out of bed before 8 on a Saturday morning. Unless it involves a million dollars, a Happy Meal or both, I can hear about it after 10 a.m.
Recently, though, I've been finding so much satisfaction spending these mornings not cosied up in sweet, sweet slumber, but venturing out to find new breakfast spots often tucked away from the hustle and bustle. I think I'll start keeping a list and watch it grow over the rest of the year!
Saturday sleep-ins, you've been great. But a scavenger hunt for perfect maple pancakes with crispy bacon and ice-cream just might be the new way to go.
