WEDDING SERIES: BRIDESMAID PROPOSAL BOXES

Wednesday 4 March 2020

So after we got engaged, one of the things I was most excited for (aside from the planning, the spreadsheets, and well, the getting married - haha!) was choosing and proposing to my bride tribe. I feel so blessed to have grown up with some amazing girlfriends, and decided to ask both my childhood best friends to stand by my side on the big day!

I'm still a lover of all things personalised, so I started with these beautiful proposal hampers from Hampers For Maids. I purchased them empty as I knew I wanted to fill them up myself, but lovely owner Elise also has a ton of filled options if that's more up your alley.

Of course, it wouldn't be a bridesmaid box without a robe to get ready in, and I found these from Le Rose Gifts via Etsy. It was tricky as I wanted something 'lacy but not toooo lacy' - and these were just right ;)

I had initially thought about including a little bouquet of flowers (because.. you know.. bridesmaids and all), but then realised cookie bouquets were ABSOLUTELY a thing - a delicious, adorable thing.  Rachael from Oh Sugar! did the most wonderful job with these, and I might just be gifting everyone cookie bouquets for any and every occasion from now...

Both my Maid of Honour and Bridesmaid live interstate (FaceTime calls, here we come!) so I thought a cute luggage tag would be perfect for them to use when they fly in for the big day! And yes, I needed these personalised as well, so I turned to trusty tde. for these leather ones with gold hardware.

Finally, some sweet-smelling L'Occitane goodies for some TLC before and on the day, finished off with a hand-written message in the prettiest cotton linen cards from The Whole Bride.
