Two weekends ago, I had the pleasure of celebrating this milestone with some of my nearest and dearest in a venue all decked out with fairy lights, tissue pom-poms, flowers in glass bottles, and all other things 'enchanted garden-y'. To top it all off was this Peridot Dress I picked up from Alice McCall! With that print and wing sleeve detailing: I just knew it was the one.
I have always loved event planning, so I have to admit that a lot of the fun for me had started over the summer holidays; with the phone calls, trips to the party store, invitation deliveries, lists, lists and more lists! I definitely could not have pulled this off without the help of mum, dad and some very special friends - who spent hours with me: planning and re-planning, folding what seemed like a billion tissue pom-poms, running around setting up the venue, taking photographs, giving a few speeches and sharing way too many embarrassing memories.
All in all, I had one of the most amazing nights and am so very thankful for all of you who have joined me on this journey and play a part in my life in some way or another.
