Happy new year, my lovely readers!

I know I'm a few days late, but I hope you all had a great time celebrating and ushering in 2014!

December has always been a favourite of mine, and the one that just went was no exception.
Aside from receiving some gorgeous gifts (and a really handy pancake maker that I've used at least six times already), I just feel so blessed to have been able to spend the Christmas season surrounded by family and friends.

Looking back on 2013, it has truly been an amazing year. Whilst it held its fair share of little ups and downs, I have also been pushed to grow in so many ways (which, trust me, is a great thing!)
Re-starting this blog and growing my social media platforms were things I wanted to tick off my list by the end of 2013; and it is truly because of all your support that I have been able to do so! Thank you so much to all of you, my readers, Instagram followers and Facebook fans. I hope that as we step into this new year together, you will continue to enjoy sharing this journey with me and being a part of the little snippets on the way.

If there is anything I have taken walking away from 2013 and into 2014, it is that having the courage to step out of your comfort zone (even if just for a little while) and just say "yes" will, more often than not, unleash so many opportunities in our lives. I know it's a little bit of a cliche, but I really found this to be true for me looking back at 2013. In a practical sense, this could mean saying "yes" to a coffee date with the new girl you met for twenty seconds at Orientation-week, putting your hand up to volunteer in an industry of interest, talking to people, asking for opportunities, asking questions, learning, feeling awkward for awhile, learning, getting it wrong sometimes and learning some more!

I am so excited to see what 2014 holds, not only for me but for all of you as well. Thank you once again for being a part of this journey with me!

I wish you all a very blessed 2014; learn much, love much, and have an amazing, amazing year.
